Jamie Karolich

Jamie Karolich

Jamie Karolich is originally from Lexington, Kentucky and received her BFA in Printmaking from Eastern Kentucky University in 2010. Jamie works primarily as a printmaker, but constantly strives to incorporate new materials into her printed work. In tandem with her larger scale prints and drawings, Jamie produces a letterpress stationery line. Jamie recently completed a 2 year fellowship at Penland School of Crafts. This fellowship allowed her to further pursue her interests in incorporating new materials into her practice. Jamie is now living and working in Southern New Mexico at Power and Light Press, where she spends her days printing and her evenings drawing. The change in scenery and climate is a welcome one.
